A football academy launching in Singapore on September 7 aims to follow closely the philosophy and strategy values of successful football club Real Madrid C.F.
The Realmadrid Foundation Technical Academy in Singapore will run on a programme focused on values like leadership, fellowship, humility, effort and tolerance, each of which applies to either the individual, team or third person context. Coaches from the football club’s own institutional arm, the Realmadrid Foundation, will manifest the programme.
Training for the different classifications—children and youths aged four to 17, male adults, as well as female adults—will kick off on launch date, but the academy is already accepting bookings on its website, with the deadline for next term’s applications falling on August 31.
There is a one-time registration fee of $100 that will get you a training kit (includes jersey with your name on the back, shorts and socks), but training packages cost $210-494 depending on the number of sessions. Drop-in sessions are also available at $20-30 per hour. Free trials are also available.
Four—one Eastside location is yet to be named—world-class training venues have already been selected for the sessions: the Canadian International School (CIS) Lakeside campus, Centaurs Turf City, ITE College Central and futsall pitch The Offside.
