If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Online travel agency Zuji Singapore is looking for one lucky individual to be its designated “Hospitality Curator”, whose role would be to try out and review hotel beds across the world. So yes, it’s paying you to sleep in luxurious hotels.
The “Bed Tester” would have the difficult, difficult task of traveling around the globe, one region at a time, to review Zuji’s hotel partners. The strenuous role requires the Bed Tester to provide a detailed breakdown of their experience, with a special consideration of sheet thread count, mattress support, room temperature, pillow firmness, duvet thickness, and accessibility to facilities.

As if that’s not back-breaking enough, the job also entails traveling business class at all times — which is probably a well-deserved perk for the stress of staying in top-notch hotels. After all, Bed Testers have the responsibility of ensuring that beds have the ZUJI seal of approval before the hotels are listed on the site.
Definitely too good to be true, because shortlisted candidates will be notified by email this Saturday on April 1. (Y’know, April Fools’ day.)
But! We could be very wrong, and for all we know, you could be flying around the world for Zuji, laughing at our cynical assumptions. For those with nothing to lose, check out the application form to be a Bed Tester here.
