ZoukOut Singapore returns for yet another year — its 18th edition — but things are slightly different this time ’round. The dance music festival, ever-popular among the oontz oontz-loving crowd, will be held a week earlier on Dec 1, and it’s been packed into one night instead of two.
According to Zouk, this change is to allow for a more “power-packed and experiential programme-driven festival.” Perhaps merrymakers are tiring of the annual beach fiesta and its organizers are trying to spice up the routine. Who knows. Nevertheless, the club plans to revamp the ZoukOut concept from next year to expand beyond its usual spot in Siloso Beach, so maybe greater things are in store.
As for the first wave of headliners, expect to see the Singapore debut of Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike — the pair currently sit at second spot on DJ Mag‘s list of Top 100 DJs for 2017 — alongside Dutch duo W&W behind the decks.
Besides the snazzy beats, party-goers can also expect the regular line-up of fringe installations, a food village, and booze, lots of booze.
