Who needs real life people when you’ve got holograms? The future arrives this month in a dream lineup of top-notch K-Pop acts — including Wonder Girls, 2PM and GOT7 — performing live (kinda) at Resorts World Sentosa. Daily.
Resorts World Sentosa’s newest attraction rides on the formidable K-Pop wave with a dedicated Hologram Theatre called K-Live Sentosa. Untethered by the human limits of fatigue, these hologram characters will be holding 40-minute concerts in repeated sessions daily.
“You’ll see hologram projections of your favourite stars singing and dancing on a 270-degree panoramic screen,” according to a Resorts World Sentosa blogpost. “With the lights and music, you’ll feel like you’re at a real-life concert.”

The attraction will see two types of packages being sold. The basic one will allow be a showcase of the 40-minute hologram show, while the bigger package is more of a Korean culture showcase. Oh, and content is refreshed every six months so you won’t be seeing the same thing every time.
The virtual party officially kicks off on Feb 23, but there’ll be a soft launch on Feb 12 if you want to get some sneak previews in. More details on the K-Live Sentosa Facebook page.
