Asia Fighting Championship 2017

Watch Muay Thai fighters from across the region pack their best punches in the ring at the tournament — but if you were looking forward to Steven Lim battling it out with Sylvester Sim, well, you may never get to see that happen. Seems like Sim backed out of the fight “due to insufficient insurance coverage provided by the organizers”. Guess you’ll just have to be satisfied by Lim taking on World Bodybuilding & Physique Sports Federation President Pradip Subramanian instead. Although that’ll be nowhere near as exciting.

6pm at Hall A, Sands Expo and Convention Centre at Marina Bay Sands. $58-$133.

Asia Fitness & Health Expo 2017

Held in conjunction with the Asia Fighting Championship, get all your #fitspo needs at the expo, which will gather experts from the fitness, sports and well-being industries for two-days of workshops, speeches and classes.

Local Motion

The first ever free music fest organized by beloved fried chicken joint 4Fingers sees bands like Disco Hue, Jasmine Sokko, Lost Weekend and Bakers in Space take the stage. And when the hunger pangs come calling, grab a bite to eat from local F&B vendors like Coffee Bandits, Dancing Elephant and Kult Kafe — one percent of all proceeds from them will go to a charitable cause.

5pm-late at Fort Gate, Fort Canning. Free entry with registration.
