Besides the Prudential Marina Bay Carnival, visitors to the waterfront area can now stroll amongst the light art installations scattered around Marina Bay for this year’s festival. Also expect music performances, an art inflatable park, a pop-up bar, and more to keep you entertained.

Masterclasses by Gérard Poulard
The official cheese ambassador of France, Gérard Poulard, comes to town for two days of one-hour masterclasses featuring five types of cheese paired with wines and spirits. Interested individuals can register at ginettsg@randlab.com.

Saigon Artbook #7: I, Me & Mine
The seventh edition of the Saigon Artbook — a non-profit community project to showcase emerging artists — features works to the theme of “I, Me and Mine”.

Sesame Street at Changi Airport
The world’s most well-known street comes to the world’s best airport with Asia’s first Our Street to Yours Sesame Street exhibition, featuring iconic scenes from the TV series. If you’re young and energetic, you can also head over to an inflatable playground at Terminal 3’s Departure Hall from now till Apr. 8 to check out the slide, ball pit, and obstacle course.

The fest is comprised of three different events — Magners International Comedy Festival, with comedians like Doug Stanhope and Yuriko Kotani; Nickelodeon Fiesta, featuring a weekend of meet-ups and games with Nickelodeon characters; and the free StreetFest at Clarke Quay’s Fountain Sqaure, where street performers from London’s Covent Garden catch the attention of audiences with contortionist acts, stunts, and more.

Textures – A Weekend with Words
This inaugural event champions local writing with more than 30 programmes, including film screenings, workshops, panel discussions, and dramatized performance of iconic Singaporean works.

Nope, this isn’t an event at the wildlife park, but one at a mall, featuring a “Fantasy Zoo” balloon exhibition with sculptures of elephants, zebras, pandas and more crafted with balloons by artists from countries around the world. Little ones can also participate in balloon sculpting workshops and craft sessions.

This arts festival set to the theme of “Wild Child” offers storytelling, dance, craft, and music workshops, alongside a wheelchair-accessible wooden creature obstacle course and a tunnel of tents showcasing stories by kids from Kindle Garden, Singapore’s first inclusive preschool.
