Presented by Singapore’s Centre 42 and Malaysia’s Five Arts Centre, this theatre production is a contemporary response to Three Children, a 1988 play about childhood by Malaysian playwright Leow Puay Tin. The first work, Are You Game?, takes inspiration from the tabletop role-playing game format, with actors going through riddles and challenges throughout the show, and audiences given the option to participate. The second piece, Sau(dara), looks at childhood, memory, and play with a premises that’s based on the artistic team’s personal experiences.

Billed as the “Joan Rivers of the Drag World,” Bianca Del Rio returns to our shores with her new show, “It’s Jester Joke,” for some no-holds-barred comedy.

Chocolate-themed Afternoon Tea Buffet
Chocoholics can feast on a spread of chocolate goodies at this mid-day buffet, with sweet and savory items getting the cocoa treatment. Think duck rillette with orange chocolate ganache sandwiches, Mexican beef stew with chocolate and mini baguettes, and crispy shrimp with white chocolate arancini displayed alongside chocolate pralines, a chocolate fountain, and chocolate tartlets. Sesame Street 50 Years and Counting Celebration
In light of Sesame Street’s 50th anniversary this year, USS is throwing a birthday bash for the likes of Elmo, Cookie Monster, and Big Bird, with activities like the Sesame Street Birthday Blowout show, Big Bird’s Nest and Abby’s Fairy Garden, a gallery with famous scenes from the show, and an exhibition inspired by Oscar the Grouch, put on by local celebs and artistic talents from Pathlight School.

Set to the theme of “Unnatural Phenomena” this year, SingaPlural showcases collaborations that explore the origins and evolutions of design hybrids.

A new festival bringing the crowds to Bukit Pasoh Road, Street of Clans offers the public a rare look inside the doors of Chinese clan associations on the stretch, with artist collaborations and interactive installations to explore. This year’s theme of “Love and Loss (and some things in between)” explores how the use of words enable us to express our emotions and shape our perspectives of the world. Programs include performances, exhibitions, panel discussions, and workshops.

Triple Frontier meet-and-greet
With the Netflix film coming out on March 13, stars Ben Affleck, Charlie Hunnam, and Garrett Hedlund, along with producer Chuck Roven will be in town for a fan meet this weekend.

The festival features performers like The Kooks, Black Coffee, Alina Baraz, and Masego Music, plus talks hosted by Green Is The New Black, a foodpanda village with bites by Don Ho, Papi’s Tacos, and Dumpling Darlings, lawn games by Red Bull, yoga classes that you can participate in and work out with personal headsets from Silent Disco, and art workshops by Mural Lingo and Utama Spice.

This two-hour seminar by the UFC World Champion offers participants a chance to hone their skills with guidance from the MMA legend, plus a meet-and-greet session with photo ops.
