Apichatpong Weerasethakul’s Fever Room

The projection performance by Apichatpong Weerasethakul blurs the line between fantasy and reality, as the internationally renowned filmmaker fuses his memories with the actors’ and fictionalizes the narrative.

Art After Dark x Singapore Art Week

Stroll through Gillman Barracks for new gallery openings, ongoing exhibitions, performances, food, music, and loads more.

Art Stage Singapore

The annual art fair returns to showcase the best of Asian contemporary art, with exhibitors from across the globe, including cities like Beijing, Tokyo, New York, Seoul, Madrid, Moscow, and Istanbul.

Disini Presents: Here/Now

Join French/Canadian DJ Jacques Greene and party the night away to celebrate the launch of Disini, a new visual arts festival at Gillman Barracks that will feature sculptures, murals, and programmes across nine months. Also expect appearances by the likes of AE$OP CA$H, Unknown Radicals, .gif, and NADA.

Qoo10 Super Sale

The online marketplace is hosting an offline mega sale at Suntec this weekend, so hurry on down and unleash your inner kiasu auntie/uncle.

Saturday, Jan 27

FashBash — The Comeback Edition

Get your hands on pre-loved designer goods and local crafts, and help raise funds for charity at the same time.

Laneway Festival Singapore

With great acts like Anderson .Paak, Father John Misty, Bonobo, and The War On Drugs slated to headline the fest, it’s gonna be an unforgettable one, come rain or shine.

10am-late at The Meadow, Gardens by the Bay. $158-$200.

Pokémon Run Carnival

Pokémon Go may be so last year, but Pikachu and the gang will never go out of style — at least for all the fans attending the fun run and carnival this weekend.

2pm onwards at Marina Barrage. $55-$70.

PVM Live!

Celebrate the last day of Singapore Art Week with this after-hours party at The Parkview Museum, featuring performances by weish from .gif and Rah from Darker Than Wax.

7:30pm-late at The Parkview Museum. Free; registration advised.

Singapore Comic Festival

This fest features comics by more than 90 artists from around the region, alongside talks by local and international artists, workshops, a flea market, and an exhibition on the works of Kwan Shan Mei, a prolific illustrator in Singapore from the ’60s to the ’90s.

Sunday, Jan 28

35MM Art Market

By now, you know the drill. Expect art, retail, and food vendors at The Local People’s latest art market, with music performances and a movie screening to keep you entertained.

Bark in the Park

Bring your furry friend with you for a fun little pawty in the park this weekend with other canine cuties.

4pm-6:30pm at Singapore Botanic Gardens. Free.

Car-Free Sunday

Stroll along the streets of the Civic District this Sunday, with plenty to keep you occupied, including free trishaw rides, ActiveSG sport tryouts, outdoor yoga, zumba workouts, and more.
