Esplanade Festival Village

Tons of stuff to do at the Esplanade this weekend, with more than 50 stalls offering artisanal crafts and local treats by the waterfront, as well as performances at various stages around the area.

One-north Festival

Talks, workshops, exhibitions, masterclasses and tours feature in this festival organised by A*STAR. Some cool activities you can check out include riding driverless cars, chatting with robots and playing video games using your mind.

Red and White Party

Mediacorp is throwing a red and white party, where you’ll get to mingle with all the DJs from Class 95 and Gold 90.5, as well as cast members from TV show Tanglin. Plus, there’ll be a buffet spread and free flow drinks.

Singapore Giant Games Festival 2016

This carnival’s all about larger-than-life games. Think big – like a two-meter dart board, a pool table seven meters long, and a badminton shuttlecock the size of your face. It’s all to help create awareness and understanding for people with disabilities.

Saturday, Jul 6

Kenny Rogers

Watch the Grammy award-winning musician perform as he stops by on his final world tour – The Gambler’s Last Deal. Look out for hits like ‘Lady’, ‘Buy Me A Rose’ and ‘Lucille’.

Let’s Lepak at Mount Faber

The pretty views and fresh air are calling out your name, as Mount Faber goes car-free and plays host to carnival games and family-friendly activities galore. Included on the line-up are a zumba fitness session, a recycled craft workshop, and a dance painting performance.

4pm-7pm at Mount Faber Loop. Free.

PlayLAH! Let’s Celebrate!

Bring your family along for the ride, as this carnival features hands-on workshops, game booths, a kampong village, learning zones and plenty of local dishes.

Pool/Party/BBQ

Dance to beats by DJs like Oliver Osborne and Amy Dabbs, and enjoy bites from a menu of mini burgers, chicken wings, truffle fries and more.

1pm-11pm at Hi-So, Sofitel SO Singapore, 35 Robinson Rd. Before 4pm: $10, includes one drink; after 4pm: $10.

SpongeBob Run Singapore

Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? Yup, the chatty yellow sponge is making his way to our shores for the first ever SpongeBob Run in Asia. Dive into the depths of Bikini Bottom with the lovable guy and his bestie, Patrick Star.

Starving Artist Fair – National Day Edition

The quarterly festival featuring indie comics, illustrations and toys returns with local artists and creators offering original comics and merch, as well as talks and workshops for those interested in storytelling and drawing.

STPI Open House 2016

Stroll through the space housing the Singapore Tyler Print Institute and get your hands dirty as you attempt to create prints using various techniques.
