Throw your inhibitions to the wind and sing along to cheesy classic tunes like it’s 1999 — we’re talkin’ the likes of Madonna, Savage Garden and No Doubt. Even better (if you dare), shimmy into your best ’90s outfit for this karaoke party.

Take note, people. The roads around Bras Basah and Bugis will be brimming with crowds this and next weekend, thanks to the annual nocturnal festival. So either avoid the area like the plague (if you’re not into fun stuff) or join the masses to watch fascinating performances, admire light art installations and dance the night away at street parties.
Aug 19-20, 26-27 at various locations in Bras Basah and Bugis, 7.30pm-2am. Free and ticketed.
Groove to the beats of funk, reggae and hip hop by The Professor as you thrown down ice cold beers, cocktails and meaty burgers.

Look out for the pretty blue building and head inside for performances such as short plays by Dark Matter Theatrics, stories by Saga Seed Theatre, spoken word showcases by destination: INK and improvised musicals by The Improv Company. Then stay on for goodies at the Coffee Bandits food truck and the BooksActually pop-up store.
7pm-11pm at Centre 42, 42 Waterloo St. Free.
In support of terminally ill patients who need bone marrow transplants, this event features headlining local acts such as Charlie Lim, Daphne Khoo and Joie Tan, as well as numerous other acoustic singer-songwriters, a cappella outfits and dance groups.

Make your way to this new-ish co-working space in Clarke Quay for a medley of activities. Think a yoga sesh, active meditation, a cockail workshop, a communal dining experience, and a market featuring organic produce and eco-friendly wellness items.

Claiming to be Singapore’s biggest Pokémon Go mass walk, this free event wants all Pokémon fans to meet up and traverse local landmarks together to catch ’em all.
