We’ve got plenty of awesomely talented musicians on our sunny little island — there’s no doubt of that. And the latest local music outfit to attract the short attention spans of netizens is The Teng Ensemble, thanks to their magical instrumental medley of everyone’s favourite Disney melodies.
It’s not the first time the veteran Singaporean music group put out a beautiful rendition of popular tunes in an East-meets-West way — for example, there was this mesmerizing Adele mash-up.
But this one’s on a whole other level of enchantment, because it features theme songs from 12 Disney princess flicks: Snow White, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Pocahontas, Mulan, The Princess and the Frog, Tangled, Brave and, of course, the inescapable Frozen. Basically, the track is a cool mix of nostalgic classics from your childhood with catchy modern releases.
