Never heard of Jasmine Sokko? That’s all about to change, ’cause the singer/songwriter/producer has just released her debut single, ‘1057’ (it’s a stylised reference to the word ‘lost’, fyi). She describes the dance track as an anthem that ‘champions the struggle for individuality in a world that carelessly defines people by the number of their virtual Followers and intangible Thumbs Ups’.
It’s mixed by electronic artist Yllis — he’s the Monster Cat frontman, Wang Wei Yang — and will be released on Spotify and iTunes soon. Check it out below.
