With the big V-Day coming up, you’ve got one more reason to party. No matter if you’re single, committed, or one half of a recent conscious uncoupling — check out our round-up of old school shindigs, rooftop raves, and anti-Valentine bashes on Feb 14.

Back to the 90’s: Valentine’s Edition

Time travel back to the golden days with a couple rounds of old school games at arcade bar Level Up, where DJ Tang will be spinning the grooves for a retro atmosphere. Plus, the best dressed ’90s hippie of the evening gets a prize.

Feb 14, 5pm-late at Level Up.

The slick crooner behind early ’00s melodies like ‘Walking Away’ and ‘Fill Me In’ makes an appearance at Zouk on the day of love for a night of garage and hip hop hits. If ‘7 Days’ was your jam back in school, this’ll be one throwback party to remember.

Feb 14, 10pm-late at Zouk. Pre-sale $88, at the door $100.

Hearts Go Loco

Valen-what? The lively Mexican joint throws its yearly bash for all haters of V-day, with a funky fiesta for all single ladies and lads to get crunk. The dress code is “sexy”, complete with “sexy tunes” by DJ Justo, and heart-themed activities include the “Bash My Ex” piñata, an adult pop-up shop, the Loco love wheel, and Love Me Tinder, where you get free shots if you match with another lonesome living soul on the dating app.

Feb 14, 7pm-late at Lucha Loco.

Salute to singlehood at this hotel rooftop club, which will be home to an anti-Valentine’s party come Feb 14. You can toast to independence with the limited edition My Ex’s Tears cocktail ($20) in sweet and refreshing or sour and bitter (ouch) flavors, alongside cheekily-named bar bites like Can’t Touch These Buns ($28) of fried chicken sliders or Tempurary Love ($18), a dish of tempura prawn rolls.

Feb 14, 5pm-late at Bar Rouge. Free.

Love is a Battlefield: Valentine’s Edition

If you’re young, standing heartache to heartache, this rooftop party is the one for you. Come dressed in full camo gear (not the sexiest theme, we admit) for a night of singles’ mingles, with hip hop and R&B tunes by DJ Adrian G.

Feb 14, 10pm-late at Cé La Vi. Free.

Prom Night: A Valentine’s Day Special

For those who missed out on your own prom night, fret not. Nineteen80 goes old school this V-Day with ballads by belters like Bryan Adams, Whitney Houston, and Air Supply, so you can slow dance your way to some midnight memories.

Feb 14, 8pm-late at Nineteen80. Free.
