Jazz lovers in Singapore, feel free to flock to Monti, the swanky new-ish concept that took over the space Catalunya left behind. Featuring Italian fare, a rooftop terrace with parties backed by DJ beats, and glittering views of Marina Bay, the Fullerton Pavilion restaurant shines a spotlight on music. Inside, the classy jazz lounge is decked out in luxe couches, and cocktails are inspired by the groovy melodies.

But the biggest plus here is that Monti has just launched its series of nightly jazz sessions — that means you can pop by any evening of the week and unwind to the sweet sounds of blues and soul. There’s the appropriately-titled Monday Blues, as well as Sunday J@M Sessions and retro doo-wop Thursdays in the style of Youtube’s Postmodern Jukebox.

Expect to see familiar names in the local scene like Louis Soliano, Tama Goh, Rick Smith, Andrew Lim, Melissa Tham and Jeremy Monteiro take the stage and funk up your night. Plans are also in the pipeline for international guest appearances.
