Ultra Singapore is coming back to our shores — once again, hordes of sweaty party-goers will descend upon Ultra Park at Marina Bay Sands over Hari Raya weekend (June 15 to 16) for the EDM music festival, now on its third run here.
Twenty-eight artists have been announced so far, with some familiar names on the list, like Above & Beyond, Afrojack, DJ Snake, Nicky Romero, and Steve Angello, who are all set to perform on the Main Stage. Over at the Resistance Stage, Loco Dice will headline, supported by acts like Coyu, Nastia, Popof, and Osia.
The organizers have also announced that this year they’re rolling out something new here: “Miami’s signature Worldwide Stage”, the same towering arch featuring surround sound and visuals (pic below), which has apparently become a staple of the original Ultra music festival in Miami, Florida.
That stage will host musicians such as RL Grime, NGHTMRE + Slander Present: Gud Vibrations, Illenium, and Joyride, who are all playing in Singapore for the first time. Details on the fourth stage, still unnamed, have yet to be released. More updates on that as we get them.
Other acts announced in the first wave line-up include Aly & Fila, Fedde Legrand, Kris Kross, NERVO, and Ummet Ozcan, as well as local and regional performers like KAKU, Mykris, MYRNE, and Rave Republic.
Here’s hoping this year brings about a little more dancing and a little less rain/mud.
