Bruno Mars is taking his 24k Magic tour worldwide next year, and his wizardry in churning out funky pop hits have no doubt spellbound folks in Singapore — so much so that tickets to his concert on May 6 were sold out in less than an hour this morning.

Fans of the Grammy Award-winning artist still had the chance to catch him live though. Concert promoters Live Nation Lushington promptly announced a second show in Singapore to be held on May 7, also at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

On top of that, more seated tickets for the first night also opened up, although they offered obstructed side views. But hey, it’s Bruno Mars.

Unfortunately, every single one of those tickets to his shows on both nights sold out soon after. Ah, well.

At this point in time, we don’t even need to bring up the fact that scalpers have already started offering the tickets for sale online at insane prices. Officially, the top tier tickets go for S$348 (US$256). But on ticket resale site Viagogo, they’re going for as high as S$9,409 (US$6,926) a pop.

Frankly, we’re kinda disappointed they didn’t put ’em up for sale at more ridiculous prices like S$24K (magic in the air).

But in all seriousness — for the love of all things Versace, don’t encourage these scalpers by buying the tickets from them.
