Prepare to delve into the enigmatic world of Grammy-winning artist The Weeknd as he teams up with Universal Studios Singapore Halloween Horror Nights for a spine-chilling experience like no other.

In a groundbreaking collaboration, The Weeknd brings his chart-topping hits to life within a haunted house inspired by his acclaimed albums After Hours and Dawn FM. This thrilling venture promises to blur the lines between music and horror, offering a unique and immersive encounter for fans and thrill-seekers alike.

This comes after the Canadian singer, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, saw the success of the haunted houses at Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood last year.

For USS, the enhanced haunted house experience will feature five brand-new rooms inspired by The Weeknd’s fifth studio album, Dawn FM. It adds an extra layer of anticipation and dread with the songs’ daring lyrics, innovative sounds, and an aura of mystery, making it a fit for the eerie atmosphere of Halloween Horror Nights.

Hits like Too Late, Heartless, In Your Eyes, and Blinding Lights from his After Hours album, and Take My Breath, Sacrifice from Dawn FM are just a few that make up his discography.

The Weeknd: After Hours Til Dawn Nightmare house promises a spine-tingling journey into the singer’s mind, where guests will traverse through the eerie corridors of his nightmarish nightclub. As they navigate the chilling environment, they’ll come face-to-face with the horrors concocted by his imagination.

The atmosphere will be intensified by a haunting soundtrack composed of remixes from his albums, crafted by Grammy Award-winning producer Mike Dean.

“Halloween has been significant to my music and that makes Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights such a fun and novel stage to bring my music around the world. I’m thrilled to have a haunted house in Singapore and share this experience with my fans in Southeast Asia,” Tesfaye said in a news release.

He was recently in the spotlight for his subpar acting and questionable direction in the HBO series The Idol, which received wide criticism for being “torture porn”.

Universal Studios Singapore Halloween Horror Nights 11 will span 18 event nights from Sept. 29 to Nov 4. Other attractions like Netflix’s All of Us Are Dead and original content like Rebirth of the Matriarch and DIYU: Descent into Hell will ensure the night to be an unforgettable event.

Tickets start at S$79 for non-peak nights and S$89 for peak nights.
