We’re all already frequent visitors of Katong thanks to its array of cafes and bars, and now there’s a new One Wellness Medical clinic along East Coast Road for you to check out next time you’re picking up a cold brew from an artisanal cafe in the neighborhood.
One Wellness Medical is run by Eu Yan Sang, one of the region’s largest traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) providers. Their first branch is located in downtown Singapore, right on Robinson Road, and now they’ve expanded out east into i12 Katong.
What makes One Wellness Medical unique is that it’s the first in the region to offer both conventional general medicine services and holistic TCM practices. As with the downtown branch, the new East Coast Road clinic is staffed with doctors and TCM physicians who are bilingual and have extensive experience in their fields.

The Katong branch, however, has a number of new offerings that are not available at the Robinson Road clinic. While the downtown branch currently offers acupuncture services, the new one has a wider range of TCM therapies, such as cupping. Additionally, the new clinic has on-site medicinal dispensaries that allow you to collect your medication at the end of your visit instead of having to return at a later date.
And, because One Wellness Medical makes it a priority to keep their services and equipment on-par with the best international clinical practices, the new clinic also offers the use of BIXEPS — a device for patients who need exercise but are unable to withstand a lot of physical strain, such as patients who are too old for strenuous exercise or who have been advised to stay off their feet.
