There’s a Keepers pop-up store at Changi Airport T1 to remember Singapore by

Have you heard? Keepers: Singapore Designer Collective has opened a pop-up shop at the departure hall of Changi Airport Terminal 1.

Now you can get decent and souvenirs from Singapore that’s not a refrigerator magnet, a Merlion-shaped chocolate or, for heaven’s sake, a “Singapore Is A Fine City” T-shirt.

Keepers is a collective of tasteful Singaporean designers has been on a rise since it first had a pop-up show at the Georgetown Festival in Penang a few years ago, where it dressed up a shophouse and turned it into a chic and buzz-worthy fashion stopover.

A pop-up boutique along Orchard Road quicky followed after that (and is still around).

So what’s there to buy?

For those who still have space inside their carry-on luggages, we recommend these.

– Jewellery pieces from Carrie K’s “Nut & Bolt” collection, Marilyn Tan’s “Infinity Knot” collection, and by Saught

Leather goods by Lingwu (they’re hot in Korea), Extreme Exotic and Gnome & Bow

Scented candles hand-poured by A Dose of Something

– Porcelain plates in blue and white by Supermama

KEEPERS: Singapore Designer Collective, #02-K25, Changi Airport Terminal 1 Departure/Transit Lounge East. Daily 6am-12am. Till Jan 7, 2016.
