There’s nothing better than decompressing from four tumultuous years than reading books about respected world leaders while on a beach date with your beau.
Jared Kushner, 40, son-in-law of former U.S. President Donald Trump, was spotted yesterday reading a book on late Singapore founding father Lee Kuan Yew on a Miami, Florida, beach with his wife Ivanka Trump.
Pictures snapped by DailyMail showed a shirtless Kushner, 40, and his 39-year-old wife enjoying the summer sunbathing and kicking back with books under watch by two secret service agents. Kushner was captured reading the 2013 book Lee Kuan Yew: The Grand Master’s Insights on China, the United States, and the World, which includes an anthology of interviews and speeches Lee gave during his time in power. It was written by American authors Graham Allison, Robert Blackwill, and Ali Wyne.
Trump, dressed in a sundress and straw hat, went with 2016 self-help book The Book of Joy by the Dalai Lama, South Africa human rights activist Desmond Tutu, and American author Douglas Abrams.
The Trump family moved to Florida after Trump lost the 2020 presidential election and was impeached a second time for inciting a riot in the wake of his loss. Kushner and Ivanka Trump served as White House advisors and decamped from New York after losing their social standing there.
Kushner and Trump married 11 years ago and have three children.
