Come May, you’ll get the chance to follow your destiny into the Light or Dark side, as the Star Wars Run makes its Singapore debut. The race will take place on May 6, but really, it’ll be part of May the 4th celebrations — something that every Star Wars fan worth their salt will be properly familiar with.

And if you’re not keen on struggling into workout wear and sweating it out, perhaps the Star Wars Run merch will convince you to sign up — the goodie bag contains a drawstring bag, towel, t-shirt, limited edition commemorative medal and, depending on which side you choose, a Yoda or Darth Vader plush toy.

The 4.5km and 10km routes that take you through pathways at the Marina Bay waterfront are Star Wars-themed, so expect intergalactic surprises and adventurous activities inspired by four decades of Star Wars legacies along the way. Oh, and even after the run is over, the fun continues at the race village.

The Star Wars Run Singapore is on May 6, 4pm-late at Marina Bay waterfront. Early bird registration (before Mar 12) $70-$75; normal registration (until Apr 17) $80-$85.
