St Petersburg Ballet performs in Singapore for first time in May

The St Petersburg Ballet is performing for the first time in Singapore on May 28 at the Marina Bay Sands.

The 55-member company will present the world’s most famous ballet, Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake, having recently closed the curtains on a sold-out season in Paris.

If you’ve always loved the deeply moving story about young Prince Siegfried and his love for Swan Queen Odette, a young woman transformed into a White Swan by an evil sorcerer, you’ll do good to watch the internationally acclaimed St Petersburg Ballet’s staging, lauded as a triumph with its beautiful cast and dramatic sets.

Said tour producer Andrew Guild, “This is the real thing, grand-scale Russian Ballet. A complete classical full-length work. If you see only one ballet in your life, let it be this.”

Tickets are on sale now for $55 —175 from Sistic.
