Someone in Singapore watched ‘Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted’ 194 times on Netflix in 2017

Netflix just released Singapore’s streaming statistics for 2017, and it was unsurprisingly revealed that we really dig Korean drama series My Only Love Song.

But the true highlight of the stats is this — someone in Singapore likes Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted so much that he or she streamed it 194 times this year alone. Upon research (thanks, Wikipedia), we found out that the third installment in the DreamWorks Animation franchise actually got good reviews, and is more critically acclaimed than both the original and its sequel.

Netflix also revealed that we really like bingeing through the likes of The Mist, Greenleaf, American Vandal, One More Time and uh… the globally derided Iron Fist. Meanwhile, shows that Singapore’s streamers shamelessly watched ahead of their significant others included the likes of Narcos, Black Mirror, 13 Reasons Why, and Mindhunter — probably for good reason considering they’re series that can get pretty bleak.

Families, on the other hand, like to watch shows such as Stranger Things, Riverdale, Chef’s Table, and Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life together.

Ever dedicated to kiasu-ism, folks in Singapore were also found to be more likely to binge an entire TV series within three days (a faster pace than the rest of the world) and spread across three to five devices at any one time. Check out the graphic below to get some titbits before you switch back to Netflix to start bingeing on a new show.
