Cat lovers, where you at? Now’s the time for you to indulge in your feline fixations at what’s touted as Singapore’s first ever cat festival this month. No matter if you own one of these furry creatures or not — the free event wants to bring together cat enthusiasts for a weekend of learning, fundraising, and community-building.

Held at Leisure Park Kallang and supported by the Cat Welfare Society of Singapore, the Singapore Cat Festival features educational talks, workshops, sharing sessions, a market of local and international vendors hawking all sorts of cat-related products, and an adoption drive for kitties to find their forever home.

At the bazaar, you’ll find quirky names such as Purrballs, Kittea, Fluffette, and Muffinsaurs with their cat-themed trinkets like pouches and tea blends on display, as well as brands like Holistic Pet Garden, The Sniff Snuff, and The Cat People putting on a showcase for cat owners interested in finding out more.

Japanese pet food brand Asuku, Aussie pet apparels label FuzzYard, and local cat food company Raw Instinct will also be present for a paw-some time.

Oh, and since this is a feline-friendly event, no dogs are allowed (they’ve already had their fair share of fun).
