Singapore’s favourite Costa classic coffee will be given away FREE — vote now!

You don’t have to know much about coffee to know what you like.

With this in mind, Costa Coffee Singapore is on the hunt for the island’s favourite Mocha Italia blend coffee, be it the classic Latte, Flat White, Cappuccino or Espresso.

And here’s the good bit: Once that little matter has been figured out, the winning coffee will be given away for free at Costa Coffee stores all across Singapore* from 3pm-5pm on Monday Feb. 29. Set your alarms now!

But how can such a monumental decision ever be made? Here’s how:

From today until Sunday (Feb. 28), Costa Coffee is asking the people of Lion City to vote for their favourite classic #CostaLatte, #CostaFlatWhite, #CostaCappuccino, or #CostaEspresso via its Facebook page, or by visiting any Costa store near you.

If you’re among the one percent of people who don’t already know the answer to this crucial question, you’ve got the rest of the week to head to a Costa store and try Costa’s famous round but rich Mocha Italian blend, created by Sergio and Bruno Costa in 1971, that to this day, is still roasted and blended in London, England.

If you’re among the other 99 percent of people who were out savouring a cup of coffee, last week, you might have noticed something a little different at your local Costa store. To launch the competition and celebrate the coffee giant’s classic handcrafted Mocha Italia blend and British heritage in one funky swoop, the Costa Classics Live Jukebox was born.

Customers at the 313 @ Somerset and VivoCity Costa stores were able to craft a musical experience just as they would craft their coffee, by dropping colourful tokens into six jars labelled “Latte”, “Cappuccino”, “Flat White”,  “Espresso”, “Add some sugar”, and “Fancy an extra shot?”

But what would these tokens and jars trigger? A musical performance by the Costa Classics Live Jukebox, comprised of local talents playing classic British hits with classical instruments. The tune, tempo and style of the performance varied depending on which jars the tokens were dropped into, resulting in a unique, interactive, creatively handcrafted performance.

So get voting for Costa’s classic coffees, and make sure your favourite is crowned the winner on Sunday (and given away for free on Monday).

After all, those with no opinion really don’t deserve free stuff.
