Singaporean performers rejig Edith Piaf classics in birthday concert

Local artists pay homage to iconic French chanteuse Edith Piaf, who would have turned 100 this year. The 90-minute concert will show performers — Dream Academy artist Sebastian Tan, theatre actor Lim Kay Siu, performers Linden Furnell and Robin Goh, and singers Rani Singam and Leandra Leandra — give their own spin to Piaf classics by rearranging these into other musical genres. Sacré bleu? You’ll have to watch to find out.

La Vie en Rose runs from May 27-30 at the Victoria Theatre. Tickets via SISTIC. Details: www.facebook.com/singtheatre.
