Singapore Contemporary returns to the Little Red Dot for the second time on Jan. 19 – 22 at the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre. We already gave you an inside look into Singapore Contemporary, now let us inspire your inner artist.
This interactive exhibition brings together curated collections of high-quality artwork from across Asia and the world. But we’re not just going to simply observe and appreciate art. Singapore Contemporary brings the art to life.
Artists tell stories through their works, stories that can be deciphered in many different ways. That’s what makes art so awesome (and confusing!), right? But with artists appearing live to talk, interact and create art right there in person, we’re getting an inside look at what motivates and inspires their artistic practice, the real story behind their work.
We’re looking forward to Roger Dean, and artist from the United Kingdom whose work is shown in museums around the world, exploring fantasy landscapes with an iconic album cover artist Jan. 21 at 2pm. We’re also excited to meet Samran Cheupan, an artist from Thailand, as he uncovers the meaning of the “enso” circle in Zen Buddhism at 5pm on Jan. 21.
