Come aboard, aviation nerds. After a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, the roar of fighter jets and the awe-inspiring displays of aerial acrobatics are set to return.
The ninth edition of the Singapore Airshow, Asia’s most influential aviation event, is officially returning to Changi Exhibition Centre from Feb. 20 to 25.
For the first time ever, the Airshow is dedicating two full days – Feb. 24 and 25– exclusively for the public, aptly named Weekend@Airshow.
This means you and your family can get up close to the wonders of flight, witness breathtaking flying displays by local and international air force teams, and explore the latest advancements in aerospace technology.
Tickets for Weekend@Airshow go on sale from Jan. 2, with prices starting at S$34 for adults and S$17 for children aged 3 to 12. There’s also a group package for four at S$240, which includes car park access.
While the aerial performances are sure to steal the show, Weekend@Airshow promises much more.
The first four days of the Airshow, from Feb. 20 to 23, are reserved for trade visitors, including high-level government and military delegations, as well as top executives from aerospace and defense firms worldwide. For them, the 2024 edition promises a full-scale return, with over 1,000 companies from more than 50 countries expected to participate.
The 2024 Airshow is putting a spotlight on environmental sustainability. A dedicated forum on reducing carbon emissions in the aviation sector will be held, while attendees can offset their travel footprint by purchasing carbon credits.
