Hey, KTV fans. A massive Asian karaoke flagship by a Japanese chain has just opened up in Orchard Cineleisure. Taking up the eighth floor, Ganso Manekineko is the brand’s seventh in Singapore and largest in Asia, with 80 rooms, 5 VIP ones and a 150-seater function hall for private events.

The space features vibrantly-coloured themed rooms, all decked out in illustrations of the brand’s mascot cat. And with price tags starting from $15 for two hours — including free flow soft drinks, snacks and ice cream — it’s a pretty affordable way to spend your weekends hanging out in group gatherings.
You’ll find over 150,000 English, Mandarin, Japanese, Malay, Korean, Cantonese and Hokkien songs in the library, and they’re all updated fortnightly based on latest releases and customer requests.

The karaoke outlet is also the only one in Singapore to provide a daily buffet spread for dinner (from $32) and weekend lunches ($20), in case you’re too busy belting out tunes to step out of the complex and feed yourself. Alternatively, there’s the à la carte menu filled with bites like gyoza, pan fried edamame, potato cheese mochi, takoyaki, sesame wings and more.

Now go forth and sing your heart out.
Ganso Manekineko is at #08-01 Orchard Cineleisure, 8 Grange Rd, 6756-3113. Daily 11am-late.
