Staycation enthusiasts will have more options to choose from when three new hotels open in Sentosa in mid-2019. The Village Hotel Sentosa, The Outpost Sentosa, and a third as-of-yet unnamed hotel will be located at Artillery Avenue in the Palawan area, according to Far East Hospitality, the operator of the hotels.

With a combined 839 rooms and an aim to mostly target the mid-tier market, the three hotels will add to Sentosa’s current total of 2,500 rooms spread across 13 hotels, which include the likes of Capella Singapore, Equarius Hotel, W Singapore — Sentosa Cove, Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa, and Amara Sanctuary Resort Sentosa.

Village Hotel Sentosa, with its 606 rooms, will cater to mid-tier travelers and Singaporeans who want a family weekend getaway; while The Outpost, a smaller hotel with 193 rooms, will target young couples looking for exclusivity. As for the third hotel, it will be a more upscale and private vacation spot, with just 40 rooms.

But if you haven’t been to Sentosa in a while, don’t be surprised by new changes such as a revamped Merlion Gateway (to be completed by 2021) and new attractions like two additional tracks at the Skyline Luge Sentosa.
