As 2023 is looking set to be a fantastic year of partying with the slew of gigs and events coming our way, here’s something else to add to your social calendar – plus it would look great in pics, too.

If you aren’t already familiar, 29rooms is an award-winning sensorial creative affair – conceptualised by media platforms Refinery29 and VICE – that takes visitors through an immersive and interactive world of culture, cause, and creativity.

This is also the first time 29rooms will debut outside North America. The Singapore edition will be held at Gardens by the Bay for over 10 weeks from February to March 2023.

Past 29rooms events in cities like Los Angeles and Chicago included a ‘teen bedroom’, a rainbow room and even a speakeasy type of room. Guests have encountered glitter, strobe lights, cozy rugs, ‘clouds’, disco balls and even a spot of letter writing.

Collaboration and curation is a key aspect of 29rooms and it has seen personalities like musicians Lizzo and Solange, actress Margot Robbie, designer Jason Wu and adding their own personalized touches to the rooms.

The theme set for the Singapore edition is Lost & Found, which means that guests are encouraged all the more to fully immerse themselves in the 29 thematic experiences that span art, culture, wellness, music, F&B and more.

Standard tickets start from S$35 on weekdays and S$48 on weekends and public holidays and can be bought online.
