American photojournalist Steve McCurry, whose images have been singled out for their fascinating colours, is showing 53 pictures spanning more than 30 years in his career in an exhibit at Sundaram Tagore Singapore art gallery.
The images were taken in Afghanistan, Burma, China, Thailand, Pakistan, Turkey, Tibet, Sri Lanka and India. One of McCurry’s famous photos is the 12-year-old “Afghan Girl” with the green eyes, which appeared on the cover of National Geographic in 1985.
