Airbnb has just debuted its Trips experiences in Singapore, so users now have the opportunity to try out local experiences besides just looking for a place to stay. The option was first launched in Los Angeles last November, and has since spread to 14 cities across the globe — including Bangkok, Tokyo and Seoul — with more than 800 experiences available for travellers to book. By year-end, the company is aiming to offer Trips in 50 cities around the world.

As for our sunny island, the range of experiences featured include art tours, craft workshops, photography sessions and beer crawls. For now, you can choose to browse through Southeast Asian artworks at galleries in Gillman Barracks, try your hand at sketching the city streets, hop on board a craft beer crawl, or make traditional street food-style dumplings. But expect more uniquely Singapore experiences to pop up in the weeks and months to come.
