Snoop Dogg, we hardly knew ye!
The 1 World Music Festival that was supposed to bring the American rapper to Singapore for an extravaganza of tunes during the F1 races has been canceled due to “unforeseen circumstances.”
Here’s the official statement from the organizers:
1 WORLD MUSIC FESTIVAL CANCELLED – For Immediate Release
Singapore, 18 September 2013 – It is with much regret that Retfar Entertainment has called off 1 World Music Festival due to unforeseen circumstances.
The organizers of the event would like to thank everyone that believed in this event and who planned to attend and also apologize for this unfortunate conclusion. The staff of 1 World Music Festival is a passionate group and everyone involved in putting this event on were dedicated and very disheartened at this turn of events. All support shown for this event has been very much appreciated.
FOR TICKET REFUNDS
All tickets and tables sold for 1 World Music Festival will be refunded accordingly. Please contact your ticketing agent for further details beginning 25 September.
Well, that leaves a gaping hole in everyone’s weekend. The 1 World Music Festival lineup that coulda been included Moby, Far East Movement, Tinie Tempah, Orbital, and Iggy Azalea.
