Top-notch instrumental bands from around the region are assembling for a small gathering filled with walls of sounds and echoing soundscapes this Saturday in the debut of Tropos, a new series of gigs in town.
Launched and organised by music editorial/promotions site ATMOS, the first edition of their genre-specific shows focuses on the post-rock. The lineup they’ve rallied together aren’t something to shake at either; the esteemed, epic likes of Thailand’s Inspirative and Manila’s Earthmover will be gracing the event.
Though initially slated to play, Singapore’s own proggy instrumentalists This Is Atlantis had to pull out due to an emergency — but they’re replaced with local veterans Paint The Sky Red. Fellow veterans Arajua rounds off the lineup in their return to the stage since over a year.
