It’s been a couple months since the Red Dot Design Museum moved out of its space at the Red Dot Traffic Building in April — and if you’ve been feeling those withdrawal symptoms, you’ll be happy to know that the museum will re-open at Marina Bay by the end of 2017.

After six months of refurbishment works, the Marina Bay City Gallery at 11 Marina Boulevard will house version 2.0 of the Red Dot Design Museum, which has hosted 688 events and welcomed over 645,800 visitors over the last 12 years of its existence on Maxwell Road.

At the museum’s new space, expect galleries to host year-round exhibitions of award-winning designs — and yes, you can look forward to browsing through handmade designs by local brands once again when the iconic MAAD (Market of Artists and Designers) returns.
