Put ‘Despacito’ on repeat, because Justin Bieber’s bringing his Purpose Tour to Singapore this October

Hold your breaths, ya Biebsters (or whatever you Bieber fans call yourselves these days). Pop sensation Justin Bieber will be performing at the National Stadium on Oct 7 as part of the Southeast Asian leg of his Purpose Tour.

We fully expect the show to be sold out, but at least by arena pop standards, ticket prices are surprisingly affordable (*clears throat* Britney), but diehard fans wouldn’t have any complaints about costs anyway.

Concert promoters Unusual Entertainment made the announcement through their Facebook page this morning (July 7):

Get ready to groove to the likes of ‘Despacito’, ‘Love Yourself ‘ and ‘Sorry’, among others, and expect a huge turnout in the 55,000-seater National Stadium, where Bieber will be playing for the first time.

Standing tickets range from $228 to $298, while seated tickets are priced from $148 to $258. VIP packages will go at $708, $958 and $1898 for different tiers, although none offer the chance to meet face-to-face with the star himself (maybe it’s for the better, he does have a history of being a douchebag to fans). More details on the VIP seats can be found here.

Tickets will go on sale starting on July 17 for Fan Club members at 10am, July 18 for AMEX cardholders,  July 21 for Starhub customers and July 22 for the general public, which will go live on Sports Hub’s dedicated ticket site. We don’t even need to remind you to stand by for scalpers.

In the meantime, to warm yourself up in anticipation of his concert, check out Bieber’s latest involvement in DJ Khaled’s ‘I’m the one’, also featuring Quavo and the actually awesome Chance the Rapper:
