It’s Star Wars week! 32 years since the last Star Wars instalment (we’d really rather not talk about the prequels), The Force Awakens this Thursday, heralding a new age of Disney-financed flicks made by fans, for the fans.
Singapore’s hippest cinema The Projector are diving deep into the hyperdrived hype too — they’re holding an afterparty at their carpark bar The Great Escape, inviting all scoundrels and scruffy looking nerf herders alike.
Celebrate the new era of Star Wars after the screening at The Projector with your fellow force-sensitives together with DJ Matteblacc (hopefully he plays the Cantina song), and down some themed drinks (hopefully there’s some blue Bantha milk).
If you haven’t gotten your tickets to the premiere of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, slots to the 7.30pm screening on Thursday is still up for grabs at The Projector. Take heart that you’ll be watching the movie parsecs ahead of the rest of the western world. Stay updated on the party on the Facebook event page.
