Since critically acclaimed albums with their 2007 debut Innerspeaker and the 2012 follow-up Lonerism, Tame Impala has been known to be the de facto name that comes to mind in the Neo-psychedelia scene. They carried on their shimmering ebb and flow with last year’s Currents, which won Best Rock Album and Album of the Year in the 2015 ARIA Music Awards.
