When you’ve lived in the Garden City for so long, you sometimes forget how gorgeous it can be. But other times, this beauty is man-made on paper and comes from the wondrous invention called Photoshop. Whatever the case, you’ll have to agree that 18-year-old local photographer Chiok Jun Jie‘s images capture Singapore in a way that’s so stunning, it’s almost surreal.

Familiar landmarks like Chinatown’s iconic Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Museum, The Star Vista, Capitol Theatre, Maxwell Food Centre, Suntec City’s Fountain of Wealth and, of course, Marina Bay Sands appear on his Instagram account — but he frames them in a way that makes you look at them in a different, neo-futuristic light.

Be floored by his snaps below.
