9th November 1989, a historic date for the Germans and the rest of the world. This date marks the fall of the wall and serves as a symbol of Germany’s unification — and, for many, the end of communism in Eastern Europe & the Cold War. To celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, our friends at Escape 56 are screening B-Movie: Lust and Sound in West Berlin a documentary about music, art, and life in the Wild West Berlin of the 1980s. The sold-out November 9 screening is part of the German Film Festival 2019 and is supported by the Goethe-Institut Singapore. Sad to be missing the film screening?
