No plans tonight? In desperate need of a guzzle of booze to forget those awkward conversations with those see-ya-once-a-year relatives? Or perhaps you’ll just take any reason to party. Whatever it is, here are some midnight raves to get you buzzed so you can wake up just in time for the end of Chinese New Year.

Attica

Head straight from reunion dinner chaos to midnight madness at Attica, where DJ Spex and Casey will fire off feel good grooves till 4am so you can get all liquored up and into the festive mood for the next two days. Then on Ong Lai Wednesday, throw on your luckiest threads and make merry on ladies night — who cares if you’re going back to work the next day.

Feb 4 & 6, 10pm-late at #02-05 Clarke Quay, 3A River Valley Rd. Before midnight $20, after $28; both include two drinks.

Canvas Club

Forget clanging CNY tunes and hop on over to Canvas for a chill night of hip hop and reggaeton, where no one will ask you dreaded questions like “when are you getting married/having kids/finding a better job/losing weight”.

Feb 4, 10:30pm-late at #B1-01/06 The Riverwalk, 20 Upper Circular Rd. $20, includes one drink.

Fleek

With house pours going at one-for-one all night, this Rapture rave at Fleek’s sleek new space brings on the tunes of hip hop till 6am. The dress code is “smart and sensual”, i.e. as edgy as you can get away with before your aunties start firing snarky remarks, and cover charge increases as the night goes on, so sneak off from your family festivities as early as you can.

Feb 4, 10:30pm-late at #01-05 Marina Square, 6 Raffles Blvd. Before 1am $30, before 2am $40, before 3am $50, after 3am $90.

Get Juiced

Get Juiced rings in the “huat” with an entire week of festivities, starting from free flow food and house pours on CNY eve’s Yummm Seng bash (8:30pm-10:30pm; ladies $15, men $25). On Tuesday’s Good Fortune Party, the God of Fortune himself will be doling out red packets with discount vouchers and drink coupons (sorry, no cash), while Wednesday’s soiree gives ladies unlimited house pour spirits and Long Island Teas from 7pm to 2am.

If you’ve got the Thursday blues, pop by the #MHM (manyao, hip hop, and mash-ups) party before the weekend rolls around with roulette games galore.

Feb 4-9, 6pm-late at #02-01 Clarke Quay, 3E River Valley Rd. Free entry, unless otherwise stated.

Kilo Lounge

This shindig’s got nothing much to do with CNY, at least in its advertising, so swing by if you’re in the mood for sweet grooves by Tiago Oudman and Amber H. To let loose your emo vibes after the two-day holiday ends, come back on Wednesday for a night of alt rock and pop-punk at the club’s monthly Emo Night series.

Feb 4, 10pm-late at 21 Tanjong Pagar Rd. Free before midnight, after midnight $20.

This retro arcade bar’s free bash is where you can save your red packet money and still get down wit it, ’cause those bak kwa bites and pineapple tarts aren’t leaving your hips until you shake ’em loose to the beats of old and new hip hop and R&B.

9pm-late at #01-05, 21 Tanjong Pagar Rd. Free.
