Can’t get enough of watching stand-up comics on YouTube? Here’s a way to get your funny fix in real life — The Comedy Club Asia are presenting Singapore Comedy Fringe 2015, featuring more than 30 comedians over five nights of laugh out loud hijinks.
Offering a stellar line-up of some of the best regional and international comedic talents, the festival aims to showcase regional and international stars including Singapore’s own Kumar (but of course), Malaysia’s Harith Iskander, Australia’s Peter Berner, Britain’s Imran Yusuf, Netherlands’ Kristel Zweers and many more.
“In the 7 years since The Comedy Club Asia began promoting shows in the region, we have witnessed a phenomenal growth in local audiences and talent,” says The Comedy Club Asia founder and comedian Jonathan Atherton.
“We want to celebrate the coming of age of Asian comedy by showcasing regional and international stars alongside the best young comics from Shanghai to Mumbai andeverywhere in between.
Split your sides next month when The Singapore Comedy Fringe kicks off from June 9 till June 13 at The Singapore Repertory Theatre — tickets are out on Sistic at $38. Stay updated on The Comedy Club Asia Facebook page.
