Open in Feb: A new Bukit Panjang mall that’s just like the rest (but with an indoor playground)

Move aside, Bukit Panjang Plaza. There’s a shiny new shopping centre in Bukit Panjang, and its name is Hillion Mall. Opening on February 24, the mall sits just below the 546-unit Hillion Residences, giving accessible a whole new name. It’s part of an integrated development and transport hub directly connected to Bukit Panjang MRT station, and will feature a two-storey retail podium as well as two basement levels for retailers.

But since this is Singapore, where malls across the island all kinda look the same, expect the usual line-up of tenants like NTUC FairPrice, Kopitiam and Best Denki. (We wouldn’t be surprised if Uniqlo decided to make an appearance as well).

About 30 percent of the retailer space will feature food and beverage stores, with cuisines that range from Japanese to Szechuan. The rest will be occupied by lifestyle shops and the district’s first indoor playground.
