Welcome to adulthood. If you read that with fear, trembling, and trepidation, fret not — you’re not the only one, and help is on the way in the form of an actual website that teaches Singaporeans How To Adult.

The final year project of four students from Nanyang Technological University’s Wee Kim Wee School of Communication & Information, this public education campaign launched today will last till April, offering tips and tidbits for young adults in the areas of financial, career, family, and household responsibilities in true millennial style (with gifs and all). Basically, valuable lessons that our years in the paper chase failed to provide.

Apparently, the team surveyed 300 young working adults and found that 85 percent were keen on receiving guidance with adulthood responsibilities (anyone else clueless about how to pay their taxes?).

Sure, most of the information that you need to Adult Well is probably readily available online. But to have it all consolidated into one simple website sure makes adulting easier.

Partnering with the likes of 99.co, Institute for Financial Literacy, Seedly, The MeatMen, and Workforce Singapore, the site offers advice for all sorts of adult activities (don’t read that the wrong way, you perv) — including job interviews, networking, wedding etiquette, buying your first HDB flat, and even practical skills such as unclogging a sink, extinguishing a small fire, and conducting first aid.

Granted, the topics covered are a little on the sparse side for now, but keep checking back and it’ll be populated with more in the months to come.

If you need more help adulting, sign up for the regular talks, workshops, and panel discussions with industry experts, or start by attending the How To Adult official launch party on Jan 25 at Spacemob Ascent to avoid making a mess out of your 20s.
