Move over, Daiso (and all the other $2 shops in town). There’s a newcomer to the bargain hunter scene, and it’s got a selection of more than 15,000 goods spread across its 1,873 sq ft space. While it’s no 24/7 Don Don Donki, every single one of the items here are tagged with the low, low price of $2.

Tucked away at Marina Square — its first outlet in Singapore — $2 Nomi Japan stocks everything from Japanese food and beverages to health and beauty products to stationery and homeware.

Take a quick stroll around the store and you’ll find things that you may or may not need (but definitely want) such as animal-shaped candles, hipster drink bottles in the shape of light bulbs, banana slicers for the OCD types, and even, um, armpit sweat pads to ensure you stay stain-free in this humid weather all day long.
