Behold, a new mall is opening at the SingPost Centre next to Paya Lebar MRT station by the second half of this year. It’s going to be sensational, what with big names like supermarket NTUC FairPrice, cinema chain Golden Village and food court Kopitiam signing on as tenants in the five-storey shopping centre.

Yep, it’ll look just as shiny and familiar as basically every other mall in Singapore.

But wait, there’s more. The new 3,200 sq ft General Post Office (GPO) will also be at the SingPost Centre, with POPStations, eSAM machines, counter service and more flexibility after standard working hours for postal and e-commerce logistics customers.

And the best part? The surrounding malls in the area, of course. Ones like the already existing Paya Lebar Square and the upcoming Paya Lebar Quarter. So many generic malls to choose from — one wonders how shoppers will ever decide (#firstworldproblems).
