New indie music and arts festival Neon Lights makes landfall at Fort Canning this November

Who needs to head all the way to Hong Kong for Clockenflap now that the Neon Lights Music & Arts Festival is here? The newest entry to the growing list of indie music festivals here has arrived, and it’s coming to Fort Canning this Nov 28 and 29.

But this ain’t just your run-of-the-mill music festival — it’s two whole days of performance, comedy and visual art as well to go along with some of the biggest names in music playing across six stages. Highlights include the likes of Irish folk singer-songwriter Damien Rice, Brit shoegazing pioneers Ride, rocktronica duo Ratatat as well as soul/funk legends Chic featuring Nile Rodgers himself.

If the fairly mild music lineup aren’t enough to win you over, just remember that organisers have yet to announced the lineup of other artists that should make those two days out at Fort Canning Green well worth your money. Tickets go on sale from Sep 8 onwards — more details available on their official website.
