For those who’ve always dreamed of stepping into Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory, the next best thing awaits at Universal Studios Singapore. Over the month of May, the theme park will be filled with the saccharine sweet scent of chocolate and candy emanating from its newest ‘Chocolate Adventure’ experience.
As soon as you step into the Chocolate Garden, beware. You may or may not be converted into an instant chocoholic — throughout the candy-themed zones, you’ll feast on dipping marshmallows and chocolate/pandan/strawberry fountains at the Fondue Garden, embellish lollipops and ‘plant’ them in Lollipop Land, and get delightfully lost in the Cocoa Hedge Maze.
Then there’s the baking station where you can decorate cupcakes and cookies, as well as guest appearances by Sesame Street’s Cookie Monster and other characters. If you somehow manage to spot the roving Chocolate Man, you could be going home with prizes like USS tickets and vouchers, too.

Oh, and while you’re in the mood for chocolate, pop by the various snack stalls and restaurants for treats like chocolate and banana tortillas, Japanese chocolate curry, nutella and cheese fries, chocolate la mian, and fried chicken with a chocolate dip.
A Chocolate Adventure is on from now till May 28 at Universal Studios Singapore, Soundstage 28. Special package available at $138 (from now till May 31), includes one-day tickets for two adults, as well as photo, retail and dining vouchers worth up to $55.
