Singer Narelle Kheng last night took a shot at social media influencer Wendy Cheng, better known as Xiaxue, after the latter wrote a lengthy defense of her racist tweets, before turning her attention to Communist Party USA member Angela Davis while taking a jab at a politician.

Hours after Xiaxue defended decade-old tweets by further denigrating an unnamed “group,” Kheng, a musician who once worked alongside Cheng, posted screenshots reminding the public of Cheng’s support for U.S. President Donald Trump, who has increasingly leaned into virulent racism.

“Just.. Leaving. This. Here……” Kheng wrote in a tweet of screenshots taken from a 2017 Coconuts Singapore article about Xiaxue outing herself as a MAGA zealot on a now-disbanded, pro-Trump subreddit.

It followed an exchange between Kheng and Cheng that ended with a mic drop by the former member of The Sam Willows.

“LOL wow didn’t know you were such a fake bitch the entire time we were filming together,” Cheng replied.

“I guess I grew up… :(,” Kheng responded.

The two worked together on a 2017 web-series called LifeSpam.

Attempts to reach Cheng for comment were not immediately successful Thursday.

But Cheng told Marketing Interactive today that influencers were trusted because they were humans with their own opinions. She said that, despite her tweets, she “would never discriminate migrant workers to their face.”

Kheng also shared screen captures from The_Donald subreddit, which was shut down late last month for failing to curtail hate speech and targeted harassment, of Cheng’s photos posing with Trump merch, including a red MAGA cap.

“I’m coming out of the closet. Everywhere I go people discriminate me for my orientation, but love is love! I heard this place is the most accepting for people like me. Is it true? MAGA!!! #womenfortrump #asiansfortrump #pinkhairedradicalfeministlookingwomenfortrump,” Cheng wrote at the time.

“Probably because the post is more about myself than The God Emperor… seriously though I’m from singapore and I finally got my MAGA hat. I was so excited I took a picture, only to realize I have nowhere to post it to,” she added.

Cheng is currently under police investigation for racially offensive tweets from a decade ago – and since deleted – that purportedly targeted migrant workers. In yesterday’s blog post, Cheng avoided singling out any group by name but said her emotionally charged tweets came from being a victim of sexual assault, for which she smeared an entire group.

More than 10,000 people have signed onto a petition calling for the authorities to prosecute Cheng for seditious content, including YouTuber Preetipls.

“HAHAHA I just signed this petition ‘Punish XiaXue for seditious content’ AND YOU CAN TOO!” she wrote.

Update: This story has been updated with comments Cheng made today to Marketing Interactive, and included the publication’s name.
